Swinger Couples Confessions will feature a series of interviews with different lifestyle couples, just to find out how and why they got into the lifestyle, and how it is impacting their relationship.
This first interview features a very attractive couple from Massachussettes, Dave and Hanna. Married, very much in love and happily living together with their two kids.

How did you meet?
Her: We were in the military and lived in different states. We were sent to the same base, I was doing my laundry and he walked in and took his shirt off. He claimed that I was folding my thong. When he was leaving the laundry room he said the most cheesy pick-up line to me, “I have seen your underwear, now do want to see mine.” I laughed and blushed then said yes. The rest is history.

Do you consider yourself swingers?
Him: Yes
Her: I do not like to label what we are. I prefer to consider myself being in the lifestyle. Someone who is comfortable with my sexuality and likes the company of other couples.
How did you get started and who introduced the idea?
Him: We were introduced to the idea while vacationing at Hedonism. We were unaware of what the lifestyle/swinging was at the time but were prepared to have sexy naked fun in the sun. I was the one to bring it up.
Her: I was very uncomfortable with the idea. I could not understand it. I couldn’t understand why two people in love would want to share that with other people. However, from being around other couples, it kind of just happened spontaneously.
Tell me about your first experience?
We were at Hedonism. We were in the hot tub; there were about 20 couples in this gigantic hot tub. We were hanging out with a couple that we met over dinner. The moment kind of just happened organically. We ended up kissing and touching with each other partners. We ended up going back to their room. We did have sex, but with each other.
How was the aftermath?
We were ok, surprisingly; it was not a big deal.
Did either of you experience any jealousy while during?
Her: No
Him: No
Did you talk about it afterwards?
A little bit, we weren’t sure what to say or ask.
Have you had any major or minor conflicts in your relationship due to you being in the lifestyle?
Her: I get a little bit uncomfortable with females who come on to my husband before first acknowledging me as the wife. Outside of that we have never really had any real arguments.
Were you able to resolve those conflicts and how? Yes. Every situation is different and communication is important.
How long has it been now since your first time?
3 years ago even though we have been vacationing at Hedonism for 9 years.
Does anyone in your family know about your lifestyle?
Only the fact that we enjoy partying naked in a sexually charged atmosphere. People have asked us about our lifestyle before. We told them no, we are not swingers.
How did they react when you told them about the resort you frequent?
They didn’t really know much about it so didn’t make a big deal. I am sure some of them have gone ahead and done their research, but they haven’t asked any questions.

11 and 13
Do you think it will affect them in anyway?
No, we will probably have a conversation when they get older. When they are young adults and probably in a relationship of their own, we will share these things with them.
What if they somehow found out by accident, what would you do?
I would be open and honest with them about it. I believe we have a strong relationship with them in terms of communication. They are aware that we go to a naked resort. At their age that is the most that is all they can understand.
What advice would you give to a new couple wanting to experience the lifestyle for the first time?
Take your time, get to know the couple…chemistry between everyone is important, make sure everyone involved is clear on everyone’s boundaries as they may be different and of course be respectful.
